The location is beautiful. The unit we are staying in is very nice, with updated appliances, furniture, and tvs. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
Good view but the last few years I could tell they can use some updating. The wifi doesn't work the best which was inportant for emails that came in while we were away. Also, the beds were hard as a rock. Otherwise it's a lovely place.
I used to vacation here as a child. I just recently visited again and it still has a warm and cozy feeling to it. The grounds and buildings have been well kept and persisted through the years of Minnesota's weather. I'm sure I'll be back in the future.
The indoor pool and hot tub were nice.
We had a relaxing stay. Condo's are updated & well cared for.
Carlos Villas is a well-maintained, welcoming resort. I have only ever stayed during late fall, but they have great access to beaches and fishing. The hot tub (communal) and fireplace (in the cabin) are a nice touch for those staying in the colder seasons. The units we've stayed in have always been clean and cozy. Wi-fi works without issue. I would love to visit in the summer sometime and make use of the deck. Other amentities that I noticed: laundry, fish cleaning shack, pool, dishwasher, ample parking, extra towels and bedding without having to request them.
