Good luck getting any help here. You can walk around for an hour and nobody will offer to help. One good point, returns are easy. Cashiers are not too friendly.
Frequent shopper of the Alexandria MN store usually no issues but today the 2 girls working at front customer service desk around 230 pm were not friendly girls at all. They both acted like we were bothering them. No smiles no conversing. I asked for a bag & they got annoyed. Gave me a bag that wasn't even going to fit the stuff I had so I asked for bigger bag. Then the one seemed more annoyed so the other girl got me a bigger bag. I mean what's up with these stores not wanting to give you bags. For Pete's sake! I'm spending money in your store give me a frickin bag!
If that's their personalities they need new ones.
On average, a good experience. It's our family's go to home improvement store in the area, mostly because of the prices/rebates and the exhaustive selection. Sometimes I get stuck with the B-team staff who don't know anything but try their best to make something up, but usually, I don't have a problem finding someone who knows what they're talking about and can actually help. They don't make you feel dumb for asking basic questions, and will often walk you around the store to exactly what you need. And as a plus, they have a decent selection of food.
Everyone who helped me tonight was amazing! Super helpful, kind & understanding! Several associates happily helped me find various items in different departments. I had a problem with my credit card & the cashiers & managers who helped me were all so nice & helpful & patient while we got the issue resolved. Really good experience... They made my night! Thank you!
If you are planning on building a new house or any type of special order items, expect it to take 6 months or more to receive material, or go else where. (This was only framing!) Got the run around till the first order placed. When they tell you a date of delivery, they have no problem throwing you lies and do nothing about it. Planned on doing over $200k worth of work with them but it's there loss now. I will be more than happy paying more from a lumber yard who actually cares about customer service.
