My son won a one night stay gift certificate to stay at Arrowwood resort for selling popcorn for Cub Scouts. He was so excited to treat his family to a mini vacation. Upon check in at the resort, we turned in the certificate, per instruction when I made reservation by phone, to the front desk attendant. She told my son congratulations as she received the certificate. So it was definitely noted by an associate of Arrowwood. After our express check out, after our stay, I noticed we were charged for the night we were supposed to receive free with the certificate. I called to see if they could remove the charge. After a review by Shari with the resort, she reimbursed us for our charge and also sent my son another certificate so that we could come back and experience the wonderful customer service again. Thank you Shari for your attentiveness and care in helping resolve this matter and for making this reward for our son extra special!
This place is huge. Be prepared to do a lot of walking in order to get to water park. Kids had fun doing the water slides. Hot tub was warm at best and for 12 and older only. Kids were bummed.
Rooms appeared clean, but on closer inspection there was white stains on the comforter on one of the beds in the room, which they clearly hadn't washed. Luckily there were two beds and the other appeared clean so I had to sleep on the other one. The cafe however has amazing food and service, the price is on the high side, but definitely worth it.
My family stayed here for the weekend for a girls weekend retreat plus had the log cabins. The beds were hard outdated as I checked dates, one springs were poking up. The DIRT and junk behind head of bed, surrounding bed! Disgusting. Cobwebs too. Hotel is outdated. The owner needs to hire more cleaners & give them time to clean or his investment property will take a dive! I won't go back. Take a black light! We spent most our time cleaning. This hotel by far is not a 4star it's like a 2star. It has the potential but owner is SLACKING charging high rates. When I checked out one other customer was also complaining of how dirty her room was! To the OWNER....HIRE A CLEANING COMPANY TO GET IN THERE & DEEP CLEAN! Update your items. Your suite needs a table in the kitchen for godsakes! And get some new mattresses! 320 was our room. Everything was sanitized besides the behind the bed including the walls!! But could be better! I have some great photos!
Resort housing was nice and roomy. Water park is fine, but can tell it need some updates. Lockers were Rusty and dirty. Restrooms weren't very clean. Beautiful area and would love to go back sometime in the summer.
